White papers are problem solving documents. These reports explore an issue or challenge faced by executives and/or specific sectors of the economy. It is our mission to work with our sponsors to suggest a practical course of action for our readers and display the thought leadership possessed by our clients. To meet this mission, we will work around the following editorial structure:
THE LEAD sentence and paragraph will describe a challenge that needs to be addressed by our readers in a series of short declarative sentences.
The report then describes why this issue should be addressed.
A brief summary of the report’s recommendations for addressing the problem statement rounds out the introduction.
Explain how organizations have typically addressed the problem statement.
Discuss how the traditional approach is no longer a valid one.
Describe the new approach and strategy proposed by the white paper authors.
Explore the strategic issues driving the adoption this new approach.
Define the things that we have to learn to do differently in order to adopt this new approach.
Describe the elements of the solution to the problem statement.
Itemize the action items or steps that we are recommending our readers take.
Define the technological requirements for implementing a solution.
Illustrate how a specific offering (product or service from our sponsor) maps to the solution requirements.
Describe strategic benefits (such as competitive differentiation or improved ability to accomplish mission objectives) that our readers can expect to gain from addressing the problem in the way that the white paper is suggesting?
Describe how the recommended solution improves existing processes and procedures.
Quantify the financial benefits to be gained.
Summarize the recommended course of action in one sentence.
Describe how this addresses the problem statement that executives must address in one sentence.
Summarize the benefits in one sentence.
Case studies from BizTechReports are designed to help organizations explore issues they must confront to achieve business objectives. We do not produce testimonials.
